Star Wedding Style

On august 23rd 2008, actress Malinda Williams married former rapper and present celebrity deejay Derrick “D-Nice” Jones.

The wedding took place at the mezzanine in Newark, NJ ( A venue that can host up to 900 guests at a time).

The bride and groom went for a vintage inspired wedding, very classic and elegant

The bride looked flawless as she shows how to rock short hair on your big day.

Her ivory, beaded, ruffled-tiered gown was designed by Maggie Sotter.

Her bridesmaid were wearing champagne floor length gown with chocolate sashes at the waist by David's Bridal.

As an alternate to the usual tie, the groosmen were wearing champagne bow ties .

The ceremony decoration consisted of tall branches in vase filled rock, and tall white pillar candles also in vases.

And as always my favorite part..... the cake

Absolutely gorgeous

Do you like the Jones' wedding style? Here are some simple step to follow to achieve their wedding day style.
Start by choosing a tiered dress that has a trumpet/mermaid silhouette and a strapless neckline, finish it off by adding beading to embelish the dress.

The hair

For the ceremony deco, use natural branches

Manzanita branches

Natural Willow Sticks

Very Curly Willow

and with winter coming you can even iced the branches to get a more winterish look

Also use candles at each or every other chair/pew

To achieved this SWS think retro, simple and romantic

North Africa Theme

My parents lived in Tunisia for a while and it is a beautiful country, so many beautiful scenery. Their souk which is the name of their markets was always like the cavern of Ali Baba to me, so many colors and things your eyes can feast on

This post is inspired by Tunisia but also by the Northern part of Africa

Here are a few items you can use for inspiration

PS: Tunisia and Morocco are great destinations for honeymoons also
