Stars Wedding Style

So the SWS (Star Wedding Style) for today is Tia Mowry, am sure you remember her from the show Sister Sister, nowadays she stars in one of my favorite show The Game (Sundays on the CW).

Tia married her long time boyfriend and fellow actor Cory Hardrict on April 20th,

at the Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore in Santa Barbara, California.

Her beautiful dress was specially made for her by designer Kevin Hall and she looked absolutely gorgeous.

Her bouquet was made of different shades of pink roses, check out her jewelry.

Her Twin sister and former costar Tamera was the maid of honor and wore a strapless aubergine silk chiffon dress by Tadashi. The other three bridesmaids wore rose silk chiffon dresses, Also by Tadashi.

Their cake was designed by Cake Divas and was a four tiered vanilla and red velvet confection decorated with the blooms.

Choose a spring theme. Start with a garden ceremony before heading indoor for the reception.

Use light, dark pink and light green as your wedding colors.

Now on to the wedding dresses. For a similar look, go for a one shoulder empire waist with a floral detail at the shoulder.

Sex And The City

My sister D. and I went to see the SATC movie this weekend and I have to say that even though I wasn't as excited as D. or every other girl in the theater, i really enjoyed the movie.
I fell in love with some of the girls outfits but Carrie's gladiator shoes sealed the deal for me. Head over to The Perfect Touch to get an idea of where to find good alternatives.
So this is what i noticed while watching the movie:


1. For your venue choose an unexpected place like a library. (NY Public Library)

2. Your bridesmaids don't have to match, just make sure they complement each other and your theme.

3. Do not loose sight of what the wedding is supposed to be about : an union between two people.

4. Have a couple of love letters -such as the one below-read at your ceremony. Wouldn't that be a nice touch?
